Bahamas Extruders & Investments Ltd was established in 2001, and began production with a new line manufacturing polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC). The top quality electrical conduit and water pipes produced by this company have been welcomed on the market by the local electrical and plumbing contracting industries. BEX recently expanded their operation with the addition of two new pipe machines that produce larger pipe sizes.

BEX currently manufactures the following electrical conduit and water pipes in the following sizes: 2”, 1.75”, 1.5”, 1.25”, 0.75” and 0.5”.

The two new pipe machines recently installed now produce the following size pipes: 3”, 4” and 6”, in both water and electrical conduit. These sizes will be available from September 2006.

The water pipe is sold in 20 foot lengths, and the electrical conduit in 10 foot lengths.

Coming soon: 2007 – CPVC pipes, for hot water use. Also, BEX will soon have available pipe fittings for use with all the pipe sizes. Pricing available upon request.
